Why Roaches Are Trouble
I'm going to assume you are here to find out how to deal with these pests and get rid of them for good. I'm sure you don't any any other reason than your own for doing so, but here are a few other reasons why you should really get rid of them once and for all:
• The eat your food
How would you like an unwelcome intruder who has snuck into your home going through your fridge? I'm sure you wouldn't like it. The least you will want to do is get rid of the intruder asap. Cockroaches are basically like the intruder. They will crawl their way into your home without your permission and immediately head for your food. Whatever they can get their disgusting little legs on, they eat it. The worst is will take a few bites and leave the rest for you to eat later. How would you like sharing the same food with cockroaches?
• They multiply like crazy
You let just one cockroach live and you're guaranteed to have more in in a short time. That one is probably not alone and even if it is, it will be inviting more of its friends to come to your house later. With just two, a male male and male and a female, they can multiply into over 50 of them in in a short matter of time. Imagine if there were more of them. Their numbers can add up fast. You let it go on too long and they will multiply to numbers that can become almost impossible to get rid of.
• They cause allergic reactions
Some people may have be allergic to cockroaches. The allergens from different parts of the cockroach may cause symptoms such as:
• Stuffy nose
• Coughing
• Wheezing
• Skin rash
Worst of all they can cause asthma.
• They carry diseases
As if causing allergic reactions and asthma isn't bad enough, roaches also carry potentially harmful bacteria and viruses that could be dangerous to your health. They crawl through very dirty places that you would associate with diseases. After they're done crawling through those places, they walk right into your food and feast on it. Then they walk all over where you store your stuff like forks and plates.
Whatever germs that was on them gets spread to whatever they touch. Then you end up eating it. I'm sure you get the picture now. If not, picture swiping the gunk buildup in the drain pipe and eating it. Disgusting right?
Just one of these reasons is more than enough to get rid of roaches. The problem is you don't have to deal with just one of the problems they bring. You have to deal with all of them with allergies being an exception. You may or may not be allergic to roaches.
